Night Vision

Updated on July 12, 2015

From time out of consciousness enters the dream that parts a wink too short

You wake in question of its image or was it soul transport ?

Symbolic visions hover your sanity, like black clouds filled with rain

You wonder when you close your eyes, will it step in again ?

Shaken and unsettled, you resist the black and what the darkness screens

Then not clear if you're awake, the figment intervenes

You hope that when you blink again reality will be clear

You then give in to somnolence with courage reigned by fear.
