Night: A Poem

Updated on February 25, 2014
Source

The day fades into darkness,

Waving goodbye to the sun,

And hello to the moon,

Shrouding the world in shadows,

Enveloping everything in mystery,

The end is almost here,

Sleepy eyes droop,

As loved ones draw close,

Waiting for sleep,

And wishing for a new day's story.

A tiny but beautiful poem. Yes, night is so mysterious and so peaceful too.
