Accumulation Of The day

Where all our activities and thoughts are stored for safe keeping

Like a large scrapbook holding videos of every picture seen and unseen

Left to review on the largest movie screen in the world

As the lights go automatically dim to dark

We should take this time for reflect

Each morning we are given many opportunities to develop our body and mind

Then after the day light hours we are given the darkness to think

By relaxing and sleeping

Our brain researching to come up with new conclusions and decisions

To keep us on our learning path

So as your morning begins enjoy all the excitement you see

Challenge yourself

Find things in your life that motivate you

Develop ways to help people through all your favorite interests

At night rest

Let your mind go to auto pilot

Accomplishing feats you haven't done physically

So in time both worlds will connect

As one

You have been given a lifetime to make marvelous things happen

Take the day by storm

Let your night refuel your body and spirit

Watch your dreams come alive

Share your life with so many people

Make a difference

nighthag A magical combination that both offset each other with such grace . Every thing in life is not what it seems. A twist to keep us guessing and the power to try it all again. Thanks so much for reading. Have a beautiful night,

I love the peace of a dark night, it's learning to enjoy the brightness and drive of day that I need :)

A wonderful piece for the cold morning I've awoken too

You are so right. That is what I am trying to do. At night it feels so good to get into my warm and soft bed and I just let my mind slow down and relax.

jhamann I can fall asleep anywhere at anytime. I think it is from working nights for all these years. Sunlight or any weather never bothers me. Sometimes I can't sleep if I am overtired or sick and restless . Boy for one night I am miserable. I can't imagine weeks like that. Thank you for reading and sharing,

When I was younger I had horrible insomnia that I battled for what seemed forever. Now that I am older when the time hits me I fall into a deep sleep almost instantly to my wifes dismay. Thank you for this well written poem. Jamie
