Happily Ever After

Updated on March 17, 2011

So much for happily ever after

do you think Cinderella found her Prince Charming to

be just another selfish, self--centered asshole?

Mine, mine, are his favored words, only one in his vocabulary

Did Prince Charming take Cinderella's glass slippers, replacing

them for combat boots?

Did she become just another one of his servants? His praise for

her beauty, become a

put down, listing all her faults and shortcomings

The whimsical voice, that stirred him to great ardor, now

sounds shrill and calculating

He used to place his coat over puddles so she wouldn't soil her

shoes, now she has to

carry him over them on her back

What does this say about Cinderella?

Where's her self-esteem, self

Prince Charming is just a little man trying to fill a real mans

Cinderella your beauty is real and your voice stirs men to

violent passion

Your intelligence is lethal so never let Prince Charming deface

your character strip him

naked and feed him to the sharks

Loved it! I, too, have found a Prince Charming. That's ok though, because that situation is soon to be resolved. Great job!

Ooo, I am sorry you found him. You should have found another prince, of Scottish heritage maybe. Like me. hehe Hey thanks for reading my, er, love poems. A few more there for you to discover at you leisure in the King's English. One of my Royal ancestors was this prince you speak of, his marriage was the pits. It is documented that they were at each other's throats always, they never had children.
