Nothing:A poem
Nothing, but never again.
It was a carefree day,
The hoots and rattles of the busy day
Started to thrash away.
And at the moment,
My purpose named itself anonymous.
And suddenly a nickering sound,
Oh,its my phone i thought.
Through the no-barrier device,
Came my friend's sound,
Which put me at ease instantaneously.
And he inquired,
"What are you doing"
A pause and "nothing" i said.
And the interaction was eventually over
And purpose was named anonymous once again.
And so for Purpose's sake,
I switched on the tv,
And in bright colors reports of a disaster,
A major catastrophe:
Whats so bright about that i thought,
Lives taken,relief needed,unnumbered casualties,
Distressed was I,
As i switched off the device,
Purpose named anonymous once again.
And in a sudden remembrance i thought,
"I haven't read today's newspaper yet"
And hence I took the named paper
And racing my eyes through it,
The same predicament awaited me there,
.....relief needed.
DIstressed was I again
When the same monotonous ring sounded,
My phone again,
same restless friend again,
Seems his purpose was also named anonymous
And his sound belched and asked,
"What are you doing buddy"
Perhaps a longer pause this time,
And letters flashing through my mind
..relief needed.
No longer will my purpose be named anonymous again.
"Nothing, but never again I said".
