She wears the cutest shoes but hides them under bulky non designer jeans.
Afraid to show what her mother got her from the thrift store.
Her glasses are too big but its what they can afford.
Her shirts are fading fast blacks are turning grey.
Her hair though she washes is frizzy, long, tangled, and mangled.
She's got a great smile that few ever see.
Never needed braces has perfect teeth.
Her eyes have a sparkle that has yet to be noticed.
If you saw it you might get everyone to notice.
She hides behind books and papers quietly keeping all to herself.
No one dare befriend her for fear itself.
They've dubbed her a wierd one.
And no one wants to be seen with that one.
Her personality's great!
By my book an eight!
But no one will know.
And alone through the world she'll go!
