Now what will you do? (Poem)

Updated on March 08, 2014

I will seek you Lord

While You may be found,

Abide in Your Word

Making sure You are around

Build an altar in my heart

Offer repentance from all sin,

Pray to fortify and strengthen

My inner self within,

I will realize that I am not alone,

I will come into Your presence

Bow daily at Your throne,

I will be still and know that

You are Lord alone,

This is what I will do

Immerse myself in You.

Love this! Echoes what is in my heart tonight! We are not alone and that is amazing. Immersing ourselves in Him is a beautiful thought.

Your heart is blessed to hear symphonies that echo J-E-S-U-S! Hallelujah!

I love the part that says you will build an alter in your heart for the Lord. I thought that was so beautiful and profound...thank you for sharing.

Hi Dana: Praise Jesus! The beauty is seen in your heart because you deem and value that truth. We all have that exclusive place within us and we can build our own altar there through the precious and sacred blood of our Savior and Lord, reserved just for the Godhead. Have a great weekend.

All of my school aged kidods are involved with some kind of extra-curricular activy. My 16 year old son is on the drumline at his high school, my pre-teen daughter is on the volleyball and softball teams and my 8 year old son is half way to his black belt in Taekwondo. My little guy who stays home with me and does flash cards during the day has extra-curricular activites of napping and cuddling with Mommy and Daddy! =)
