Poem : Oblivion

Updated on April 28, 2013

Success came with fame and money
Surrounded by strangers and they were all friendly
Everything turned gold and life was easy
But before long, you're hit by the hard reality

Luck can't be forever steady
It rises fast and falls just as quickly
Like a product reaches its expiry
In oblivion as the lot fades suddenly

For those who stick around sincerely
They are the good friends truly
The precious few you should hold on dearly
Work hard to bridge the gaps in life style & geography

Fame and oblivion are two sides of the very same coin; with a flip fortunes change.

      Well written. :o))
