Mental Health Poems: Obsessive Compulsion
I cannot describe
My utter revulsion
At my inability to control
This obsessive compulsion
Mind circling like the predator
In search of its prey,
Targeting on this fixation
That won’t go away
An unending itch
That can’t ever be scratched,
The elusive mouse
This cat can’t catch.
And I’m totally losing it,
This thought driving me insane,
Can somebody show me
The off switch to this brain.
