Ode to Deergha
Ode to Deergha
I feel your spirit,
Spreading its vastness in the firmament of the ether;
Singing a freedom song and dancing with the blue-birds.
The muse of welkin’s immeasurable,
Adores your yielding branches like the tree,
And yet, like the mountain, you hold your head high.
You remain awake, to the artistry of beauty,
And the cadences of Mother Earth.
While your enchanting scribblings,
Ever-flowing liberty and inventiveness,
Gladdens the heart and stirs the soul.
O Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and beauty,
Let her light winds or inspirational fragrances;
Grace and charm found in soothing words,
Shine in her depths, ennoble her inner musings,
illuminate her pen, and grant us peace.
