Oh Heartbeat

Updated on August 2, 2009

The Poem

When I looked and saw you there

I floated in the air

For you made my heart throb

Your eyes in the Sunlight..

The golden specs reflect you

Perfection

Boy with the light brown eyes

Please stay until sunrise

For I will miss you if you leave

And he played so softly

He wrote me a song

That made me figure I'd never go wrong

With him

I sang sang sang

To the sound of his heart beat

And he rang rang rang

On my heart strings

I love you I love you

Oh heart...beat..Listen

To his voice

I kind of just write from the heart. Sometimes I plan what I write. But I free styled this one. So there might be some words spelled wrong. It should be pretty self ex0planitory. And I'm always up for comments and input. I think it is important to write from the heart sometimes. My ex used to say "Plans change" (This is not about him!) and since not everything in life is planned I think it's nice to just sit down and write from the heart. It's a good brain exercise too.

      A beautiful poem...fantastic!

It is a bit like a sonnet...just slightly different.
