On The Edge Of The Galaxie

Updated on June 12, 2012
Source

One million stars

One billion stars

One trillion stars

How many are there, can I ever know?

Out in the darkness

Among the dark matter

Black holes in the distance

Is that where I want to go?

Can I ever know?

Out on the edge of the galaxy

Is that where you wait for me?

Because there's nothing special about me

But still you called out

I'm not that quick on the draw

I'm not that sharp in the shed

I'm not that bright in the socket

Still the supernova said these words he said...

On the edge of the galaxy

Is that where you wait for me?

The only thing special about me

Is that you called out and reached out for me

Out there in darkest space

But I spent time looking out

The light was too bright for my eyes

And the sunlight on the edge of the galaxy rises

And I'll ride the meteor

And shower the empty space

With the ice of the emptiness

To be filled with Your Light!

On the edge of the galaxy

Is that where you wait for me?

The edge of the galaxy

Is where I want to be
