On With My Day
Pressed For Time
When we think we are alone
We are not
When we think it always happens to us
This is a fabrication of the mind
It is our way of trying to make us feel insecure and uneasy
Maybe it was something from our past that holds us back
It is time to let those feelings go
We can only do so much and as long as we know we have tried our best
That is good enough
This day will end and aother day will begin and we will have the chance to start trying all over again
There are times like these that we have to be happy with what we have accomplished and be pleased
We have to take a step back and refocus
If we are not careful we can believe the wrong assumption
That will lead us to a downward spiral
We will soon feel a variety of moods
Depressed and sad
Aggrivated and just peeved
All these emotions have no place in our life
So it is time to catch our breath
Understand life doesn't always follow a pattern
Each day can be different from all the others
Even when we do good we need time to rest
We can stop and think what are the most important things in our life
How do we want to work towards those goals ?
At the same time keep farther away from things we don't need
When we get all caught up in the moment it is easy to get carried away
Take a few minutes to reflect on the people in your life and see if they are helping you achieve your true desires
Everything in life has a purpose
It is up to each one us to find the time to understand what the purpose might be
Then we can turn a disappointing day to one that makes us eagerly satisfied
For we may only have a smile that shines from cheek to cheek
As our mind turns new thoughts of peace and to the love of mankind
