On the shores of a brand new day.
Today's hub may be the last for a while unless I have time for another next week because we are moving house. We are moving into a bungalow only 15 minutes away and right down by the beach. This also explains my absence from you all these past couple of weeks ; I also have to apologise that I will not have time to read any of your wonderful hubs either but wanted to let you all know the reason for my absence.
We are moving next weekend and I am looking forward to our new home and being so close to the sea as I grew up by the sea but also there is a beautiful coastal walk for miles around the Welsh Coast so I will not be starved of my love of the countryside either.
All in all my life is panning out just as I know it should.
This was an out of the blue chance which which we had to grab with both hands but the things which are meant for us in life often are.
Today's song is 'Rise Of The Phoenix' by Conchita; many of you will recognise this as the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The message of this wonderful song and the brave Conchita touch me immensely. Oh how important it is that we find our true selves and that we this is the 'me' that we must present to the world.
'Peering from the mirror
No, that isn't me
stranger getting nearer
Who can this person be
You wouldn't know me at all today
From the fading light I fly
'I rise up to the sky
You threw me down
but
I'm gonna fly'
I hope you enjoy.
On the breaking
of a brand new dawn
waves bring forth
in astonishing
almost unbelievable forces
which make the sunrise
reach forth
in
delirious tastes of gems
yet to be tried and tasted.
The noon sunshine
sees me absorbing
life's glories
each sense so aware
of the beauty
and
wondrously
sincere promises
of each of my days
to come.
Hand in hand
with Mother Nature's
countryside
are the seaside's
treasures
so precious
and for me to protect
eternally
oh so deeply in my being.
As the sunset
sinks in a glorious sphere
of true warmth
I feel my sated emotions
my true self worth
escalate to heights unknown;
and the waves
gently lapping
into and from
coves yet undiscovered
so like the days
yet to dawn
in my life.
The following pics are of the little seaside village to where we are moving..
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and take care one and all.
I hope to be back very soon and lots of love from my little corner of Wales.
Eddy.
