Once Upon a December
When the world becomes a dark cold places, sometimes it can become inviting.
Evening nights of silent screams
I am left with unknown dreams
Feeling hopeless on this winter night
Left with a touch of a sudden fright
Once upon a dead December
Winter snow falls inches more
The icy winds pierce a boar
I only stare at the dreaded wall
Feeling fright of that one call
Once upon a light December
Only if it was a nightmare
My wishes would not be rare
My dreams would come true
As my soul once flew
Once upon a white December
I remember very well
My heart was in a cell
You found the key
And the water to my sea
Once upon a blue December
I remember your smile
Walking death’s aisle
We will soon be together
I leave this cold weather
Once upon a joyous December
