Once Upon a Sunset

Updated on January 10, 2013

Once upon a sunset

Two lovers’ divides----

Left broken under a crimson sky

-----love dies

Tears became her champagne

Drown in all agony and pain

Like of propane---easily identify

Envelopes are open---she reads what’s inside

A feeling of remorse

When Karma run its course

Left alone in dungeon

She prays for second chance

"-----------If only he’s meant for her, he will return she speak softly within------"

And once upon a sunrise

A magical cupid shoots its spear

Went right through them

Crimson sky became clear

Two hearts entwined

Beauty of love combine

Eternal love, eternal love

She dreamt came true

*And she smiles

"He was made for me----He belong to me---We’re meant to be---she softly speak within"

Old saying sure is true, "if he belongs to you, he will return"

A tribute to the saying, "if you love it set it free"....and it will come back. This was a moving poem and a joy to read.

      Voted up and beautiful.

A variant of that old saying at the end of the article appears on bumper stickers around here, and expresses negative consequences for the love that does not come back.

It is good to see you back and writing again.
