Ooops Excuse Me

Updated on May 22, 2013

Yes i Know

It happpens what can I say

A puff of air

An odd noise

We have all been there

There is no denying it

It is not something we are proud of

But I will admit quietly almost secretly

Yes it was me

Ashamed definitely

Quickly I will put it out of my mind

I will talk fast and change the subject

What else can I do

Take a bow or say was it you?

As I move quickly in any direction but here and I suggest you should too

kidscrafts Sometimes I hit the nail on the head.Other times I scratch the surface. Then again there are times I dig deep into the unknown.Sparklea I knew friends who would announce it as if it was an accomplishment. They were brought up it was better to let it go than hold it in.They looked at it like a sneeze.DDE We are all human and our body functions for a reason.ladydeonne A touchy subject where if we handle it with care it can be something we just dismiss or at least understand instead of fear.Ghaelach I remember the old saying the one who smelt it dealt it.So you moved fast and hoped it would disappear in thin air.Not so lucky sometimes when it would just linger and like a cloud on a rainy day.Darrylmdavis Just one more way to start your day.Thanx to everyone who had fun and didn't run away.A good laugh makes the world feel so much better.

Dream On: Voted up and funny...thank you for the big smile and for writing something we can all relate to. My husband's father and brothers will let out a blockbuster and just keep on talking as if nothing happened.

I think women are different, I would be mortified!

On the up side, one who is alone when it happens is the most fortunate because it IS a relief and a good sign that your body parts are working well. :) Blessings, Sparklea :)

      Morning Dream on.

1st read this morning and what a nice way to start the day with a good chuckle.

How many times has this happened, especially in a crowded bar. It just slips out, and you've got to slip away. Still, it's better to let come out from behind then to talk a load of it.

      LOL Ghaelach

shanmarie Thank you for passing this along. It is one thing that has lasted all through the ages.Children burst into laughter.Adults try to cover it up.Middle aged people accept it with a grain of salt. The elderly either don't hear it or they hush it up.Inside I think they are laughing hysterically!
