Poem 6: For my Beloved Fiancee

Saqib is a proud Pakistani who writes genuinely his own poems and articles. Natural and sublime. Educated at Military College.

My mother selected you for me,

To forever become part of me,

By then, My Love for you is exponentially on the increase,

*Just Like French water lilies.

To put Love in 2 words : sweet and great,

As you find the right person it will be fate.

My love for Ashoo is so strong,

I pray Nothing ever goes wrong.

It was not love at first sight,

But your every sight is delight.

I am ecstatic just as I talk to you,

Puts a stir in me as I look at you

I can't wait till the day She is mine,

The happiest day that would be for me,

The future we can never determine,

but together forever we will be.

Our Love is like butterflies,

Pleasant for the eyes, quite for all,

Joys, We will not add but multiply,

and together we will rise, for every fall,

Because it was my mother's Call.

The fruits of patience are always sweet.

*Children in France are narrated a cute story by their grandparents in which they think off having a large pond with flowers of white lily leaves floating on the surface of water. The lily population doubles in number every day and if left unchecked will stifle away the pond in next 30 days, thus killing all the other living things underneath water. Day after day the plant seems small so it is decided to leave it to grow until it half-covers the pond, before cutting it back. They are then asked on what day half-coverage will occur. This is revealed to be the 29th day of the month, and thus only one day will be left to save the pond.

"..put a stir in me as I look at you..."-lovely! Pay attention to that,if a man keeps that escalating,, always, he will look at her so much more, and more, and the stirring will only become that much greater- she will know too!

"Like French water lilies.." Splendid, that triggered an interest right after I read it, what a notable treasure to find the citing right there for me. This hub is very non-dissappointing! I shall give it a thumbs up!
