Pantoum for the Holy Spirit
A Poem for the Spirit that connects us all with the power of love
Introduction
My understanding of the Holy Spirit has grown over the years. When children from Christian families are taught their faith from an early age, the third person of the Holy Trinity is full of mystery and symbolizes purity.
I believe that she is more than that. She calls us to be the best humans that we can be, and to rally together against the dark forces of the universe that are bent upon separating us from the love of the Great Spirit. That means everyone who worships a higher power beyond themselves - not just christians. She beckons us to help one another for the greatest good of the greatest number. She calls us to find peace and joy in the diversity among us, and to be the love of the Great Spirit for one another.
This pantoum is my dedication to the Spirit that boldly reveals her message in each of us in a multitude of ways, especially in the 21st century.
