Paper Planes
Paper Planes
Once just two pieces of paper
They didn't know what they could be
Now they soar across thin air
Two paper planes together and free
Not long ago they were worlds apart
In both distance and lifelines
Still somehow they collided
Through fate, space and time
Two paper planes are falling
Sent soaring through the sky
Their paths intersecting
With every dip and nose dive
Like an echo on a gentle breeze
At times distant, but still there
Two paper planes are gliding
Their destination: Nowhere
As one plane begins to spiral
Headed for a certain ill-fate
The other plane dives down too
To travel with its paper mate
Two paper planes catch the breeze
Spared from plummeting any longer
Together they rise even higher
Because together they are stronger
