Paper maze

Updated on May 14, 2011

Bureaucratic battles
the worst in their kind
how to get things done
with people deaf and blind

Deaf to all the stories
they are told every day
blind to all the needs
that are projected their way

In their daily life’s
superiority rules
but when you need their help
they turn out to be fools

Fools that are lost
in a paper maze
giving you an attitude
when enquire about the case

Now don’t feel offended
in any way
even if your file
has just been thrown away

For they are merely fools
lost in a paper maze
drowning in their worlds
slowly drifting away

@Greensleeves Hubs, thanks for reading my words and I'm right in the middle of one of those battles. This is my way of dealing with the frustrations.

@duffsmom, thank you so much and indeed so true.

Bureaucracy - sentiments close to my heart! A thoughtful poem.
