What a beautiful sight..!

Sparkling like a diamond

Under a bright light..

Closest friend is by my side,

Warmth of sunshine on my back.

For me it gets no better,

There´s nothing that I lack.

Home sweet home for everyone,

May be a different place,

but the feeling of ´belonging´

brings smiles to everyone´´s face.

Bouganvilla hanging down,

in shades of purple through to pink,

Fill my senses and my heart,

absorbing my surroundings as I think.

I think of all the happy times,

Negative thoughts are banned.!

My mind´s eye watches the children

Running, playing in the sand.

The innocence of childhood

ensconsed within my heart,

The only sadness creeping in

is that we´ll have to part.

But the stars at night will be the same,

Wherever we may be.

And the sun that makes the water glisten

Is the same on lakes and seas..

The beauty of this quiet day,

will stay with me forever,

Another blessed time we´ve shared,

So our friendship ne´er will sever.
