Persistence - The18th in the "Good Words Project
I am persistent
I am writing this poem for the 18th WORD in the "Good Words Project" words, given us weekly by fellow author Jo_Goldsmith11, in her "Good Words Project." A word to practice living by that word's meaning.

I think I got lost along the way
But I got back on track today
I wrote this poem for Persistence
Then put my notes away
Can't seem to find them anywhere
Did I leave them in a chair?
At the hospital?
Did I leave my notebook there?
Got to get this POEM done ASAP
I will be Persistent
Just you wait and see
I will find my notes, even if I wrote them in my sleep
In the virtual notebooks that I keep
I need take a peek
I will be persistent
In my quest of the writings that I seek
This is what Persistence is all about
Searching every nook and cranny in the house
Till I ferret every notebook out
Then if I reach an impasse, I will just start again
My mind went on a hiatus
I just hope it did not go too far
Maybe I left my notes in the car
I may have to write them over,
Cause, I may never know where they are.
