Picture This, Poem
Imagine a vast desert
A light brown canvas
Across an endless sea
Imagine you are floating
Slowly, swiftly, then slow again
The wind is hot on your skin
Flecks of sand breeze by
No sounds for miles
Just gusts that push you along
Who do you see in front of you?
Who would you long to see?
Is he really there?
Imagine you walk with him
Side by side for miles
Footsteps across your canvas
