Please Do Not Cry

Updated on August 14, 2013
Source

Please do not cry

I had to let go

It was my time to die

To rest in my meadow

As long as tears wet your pillow

I will not leave your side

My weeping willow

I will stay by your bed

And watch through the night

Caressing your head

With soft morning light

In my presence you can hide

I will wait, I will tarry

Your lover a ghost

And wait to carry

When word from the host

That you are set free

Unchained from this side

To float with me

Across the divide

That our souls might kiss

Eternity I would brave

To dare the great Abyss

For our love to save

      wayne,

Is it okay to cry to a computer screen? :-)

Wow, this was so beautiful I can't even stand it. I must say the clip from Ghost was just right; I can cry anytime I listen to that song or see that clip, putting them together and being all kinds of sentimental from your words just blows a girl away.

      So up and so beautiful!

This is so unbelievably romantic Sir Lord Byron of Mister Wayne and a Shelley ghost nearby. I wish I could cry here but since taken my anti-depressants I can't cry at all - someone turned the plumbing off completely - isn't that ironic - from crying too much to not crying at all.

Sending you a big Canadian high five for this one - and you certainly have eclectic poetic tastes too of the old yin and yang variety.
