I'm not a fool to believe
this life of ours
filled with so much desire
temptation is only
a whisper in an ear
eager to hear a voice
that lures away in secret
sanity replaces fears
that traps us in a dark sphere
Pleasure so rare
and life so complete
it takes only a moment
in judgment to throw it
all away
Pleasure is what I feel
uncontrollably I fight
not to give into the
passion inspired by the
beauty of your soul
pleasure is what I reveal
when I think of you
Nights of lovin'
when we couldn't get
enough of one another
cryin' out your name,
pleasure when you
sent my body
up in flames, igniting
desire to strong to be denied
Not wanting to let go
of that last moments of
sanity, before I become
a part of you
I am a fool

I enjoyed reading your poem. Most of the time, I try to pick out a favorite line, but this poem is written in such a way that each line quickly leads into the next one, so they all connect together so well....and this is a great poem.
