Poem: Incapable of Being Loved

She wasn't good enough for him-
Not pretty enough,
Not smart enough,
Not funny enough.
She wasn't even amusing enough
to keep him happy.
He got bored of her
like most boys do.
Images of other girls
floated through his dreams.
He had looks that could kill
and wished he could have more.
He got annoyed of her.
A love thought to last
drifted through her mind.
She thought he felt the same.
How wrong she was,
she didn't know.
Some people say they're
incapable of loving a person
or that they're scared of love,
but
have you ever heard of someone
in love with love
being incapable of being loved?
