Poem - The Facebook Family

Updated on August 12, 2013

ツ One certain fact, is that using the internet daily, is very important to many and it's not necessarily for Social Networks, but my poem is a light-hearted one about Facebook.

The Facebook Family Photo.

These days, TV in bedrooms is no longer cool.

Laptops / Tablet PC is now the essential tool.

Parents catching up with friends - busy.

Kids checking out the page on Disney.

But all together in one room, so that’s wonderful.

Funny photo, but very much a reality today. It's a close knit SM family!

Funny :) They might all be sharing the same room but each person finds something to search on the web! Thanks for sharing this, it certainly made me smile. Voted up and funny!

Enjoyed your poem, life has changed and communication is through a cell phone or social networking.

Hi Lady E, as you can see from my previous comment.

I thought someone else wrote this poem.

My mistake but a nice one.

I like what you have done here.

Very on the button and it gets another shout out from me.

      @CloudExplorer Thanks. ;-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. As much as some people put Facebook down, we have to admit it's cool and can be addictive. I appreciate you rating it up and sharing.

@Molometer - It certainly is. Everyone in one room.

Thanks for stopping. Hope the sun has finally come out in Cambridgeshire. Thanks

This is so 'on the money'. At least they are all in the same room which is a move forward for the modern family.

      Nicely done Mike.

I found this poem on Facebook, go figure! LOL

I love the message here, its short, its sweet and so true. I love FB too.

I just saw two different babies in strollers watching or playing a game on a iPhone, so I can sense such a poem may be coming soon from you as well. Nice one :) Thumbs up and sharing.

Cute poem. So social media replaces the dinner table too, for family togetherness?

I didn't vote because I use them, but I can do without them. I use Twitter more than Facebook. I only have a Facebook business page for my writing and that's it. I do like to use Linkedin for posting links to my writing when they are relevant to business or success self help. I love to see my Twitter following grow. It satisfies that instant gratification part of me. But again, I could do without.

Take care and have a fantastically creative week!
