Poem: You are my Mystery
You are my Mystery
There are such mysteries to this world, as you are my mystery.
With every heartbeat and with every breath, I only confess my love.
Through mine eyes, to which I see, the truths you have that captivate.
I stop not this want for more, to hold you still.
So sudden, my blood rushed through to my head, as we whisked the night laying.
Let not this night go as I hold onto now.
Embrace me this, a captured kiss. I ask from you, stay.
Without you near, my life is a mess; my thoughts are only of you.
My journey, now, is to pursue and make you mine.
Gift you are, as I rejoice my days, the ones I spend with you.
In thought we have together now, are yours and mine alone.
Touch me as you have touched my heart; a world I have never known.
With every heartbeat and with every breath, I only confess my love.
There are such mysteries to this world, as you are my mystery.
