Poem from Heart
Endurances of Festivals
'Diwali! Diwali!'
What a scream and yell?
I hear from everywhere
It's far worse ticking time bomb
On my head and in my head
Rising is it my panicky attacks
When I am confronted
With the questions common
'How much cleaning done?' 'Have you done with sweets?'
Oh god! Rising my pressure to abnormal heights
Why this diwali?
Is it a festival of fun
Or festival of my health problems.
Here, all don't end here
Worse is yet to come
Starting with maids and servants
all ready to leave
And line of guests
To increase my woes
Worry and hurry
For pujas and rituals
Chaos of festivals with
Bursting of crackers
Making me go wild
Of polluted atmosphere
How i loathe diwali
Not caring for
Who does like it!
