Poems and Poetry: After Storm Sun Will Return
Storm of Life
For a moment it was as if the world
Had stopped on its axis
As if every sound in the universe has died
The silence was deafening
As if the birds had got their wings clipped
The wind came in alarming speed
The oceans were so turbulent no one
Could dare sail on them
Everything and everyone waited
But I’d been through storm of trouble
Before and after every storm the clouds
Part and the sun returned with its warmth
And its promises so this was my consolation.
