My fans chant for me

While thundering hoofs I pound

Short of a twelfth Crown

Expectation's roars.....Fall before I reach the line.....Roses quickly lost

from Funny Cide, (lost) 2003 Belmont Stakes -

Mud and slop hit me

Rain continued down and 'round,

Dismissed my own Crown

May Roses I wore.....Looking for Black-Eyed-Susans.....Gone in a bone snap

Beautiful Ups brown.....Ready willing for the prize.....Changed my big brown mind

Gungho my ancestors cry,

Stumble an upset
