Positive Thoughts to Finish Our Day:

Happy Days Are Here Again :)
I’ve been on a bit of a tear today. I think some positive thoughts are now called for to make the rest of the day a little better. I have plenty of things to be thankful for, people and things that outweigh the bad by a long shot.
I have six wonderful children who are always here to give me a hug and kiss and to say, “I love you, Mommy.” We have a lot of fun times together and have so far created our own Kool-Aid and Expresso dances. Unconditional love is impossible to hover over with black clouds. No, you can’t rain on this parade!
I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world! There is just no comparison. I’m still speechless after eight and a half months. Everyday brings us closer and everyday I learn something more to love about him.
I have a beautiful garden that I go to for tranquility. This is my space. I can go in here and hide anytime I want.
There are many other seemingly very small things to other people that are a pretty big deal to me, simple things that bring me so much happiness. Here is one of my poems to express a little piece of this side of me. It really isn’t spectacular, nothing really great; but it makes me feel happy.
This Little Light of Mine...
"Come Out and Play With Me"
When Little Windy comes out to play,
It always winds up to be an awesome day;
Rainbows and clear skies of blue,
The beauty of a rose kissed by the morning’s dew.
I romp around and play all day,
Even chores seem like child’s play;
Try it just once and you will see,
Just how happy you can be.
You’ll play and race,
Nothing must be done in haste;
The ice cream smiles and rosey cheeks,
Will surely make your life complete.
Give it a chance,
Take my hand and let’s do the dance;
Ring-around-the-rosey, chasing lightning bugs and climbing trees,
Kickball and that game of tag where you freeze.
We’d love to play with you for a million years,
And never ever witness your tears;
Only giggles and smiles will come to be,
If only you would come out and play with me!
