Practice Makes Perfect

Practice makes perfect, they say. Who are “they”? I keep practicing and all I keep getting is crooked eyes and lopsided faces! Perfect? Not me and it never will be. I’ve tried to draw everything from puppies to faces and they just don’t turn out right. So much shading it looks like they fell down the chimney right before I started sketching ‘em, or arms and legs that were victims of a thrasher. I try to try and continue to try. Practice makes perfect, they say. Dear They, I’m practicing my aim. It’s just about perfect!

Voted up and a great way of putting things. You know I realized a long time ago that I could draw pictures with my words but with pencil forget it. So since I find drawing relaxing I draw just for myself the heck with what the pictures look like. One time I did manage to draw a pretty descent bridge. lol So just do if you enjoy it. Try doing Picasso type of drawings then it won't matter where the eyes and ears have to be. lol
