"Precious Miracle Part 2 Of 2"

Miracle had only a few kids over for her birthday party, but she was so happy and excited that she had friend over; that she was all over the place and the Collins was a little nervous at her excitement. Because they knew that to much excitement wasn't good for her heart, because of her of her heart defect. But Mr. and Mrs Collins talked about it and decided to let her have fun at her birthday party, they would just watch her and make sure she didn't over do it. the birthday party menu consisted of finger sandwiches, chips, dip, Punch and double layer fudge chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Miracle appeared to have so much more energy that day, she enjoyed her friends so well that the Collins told her to calm down and not to get so excited, of course you know that went right over the top of her head. Miracle's party went on for about two hours until Miracle's energy went from ten to two on the energy scale, after all the eating of cake and ice cream, playing games and enjoying her self, the Collins knew it was time for the party to be over for Miracle because she had started falling asleep. The Collins called all of the parent and thanked them and told them to come pick up their children because Miracle was getting sleepy. The parent all came and pick up their children and poor Miracle; had sacked out on the couch, in deep slumber. The Collins check on her and she was still breathing a deep shallow breath and Mrs. Collins told her husband that if her breathing didn't get better they would have take her to the hospital. They Collins tried not to panic, but their fears were getting the best of them. They finished cleaning up after the party and checked on Miracle again, this time she was into such a deep sleep, that Mrs. Collins panicked and tried to wake Miracle to no avail. She was breathing but she had slipped into a deep coma. The Collins picked up Miracle wrap in her favored care bears blanket and headed to the hospital, they called Dr. Jones and he was on his way there. All Mrs. Collins could think of was what a terrible time to die on your birthday, she held back her tears because she didn't want to upset her husband. They drove toward the hospital hoping this wouldn't be Miracle's last birthday. Dr. Jones met them at the emergency entrance and had the nurse take Miracle in the examination room, so he could examined her.

The Collins waited in the waiting room praying that God would bless them with another precious miracle, and this time they wanted a healthy heart for their daughter Miracle. Time seem to drag on for the Collin's and finally Dr. Jones came in with a grim look on his face, the Collins in horror asked, Is she still, living, the doctor nodded his head and told them, he didn't know how long Miracle had left all he did know for sure was that she was in terrible need of a heart, if she was going to have a chance at living. The Collins hearts were breaking but all they could do was to pray to a God; that has access to everything and hope that he answers their prayers in time to save their daughter Miracle life. The Collins were at the hospital all night praying and hoping that miracle would be blessed with a heart so she could live. The next morning, Dr.Jones, came into Miracle's room abruptly, telling the Collins that they had a heart for Miracle and they had to prepare her for surgery right away, The Collins was so happy and elated and they continued to thank God for his endearing mercy to them and to MIracle; she only was sad that she couldn't tell Miracle the good news, because Miracle was still a coma and wouldn't know anything until she came out of the coma.

After the nurse came in and took Miracle way,the Collins bowed their heads in prayer, because this surgery would be a long waiting process and that was okay as long as their Precious Miracle came out of the surgery alright. The nurse came back in to the room and told the Collin's that her brand new heart came from another little girl that had drowned in freak accident; the Collins hearts were sadden for the little girl and her parents, but they were glad that God had blessed Miracle to be the recipient of the little girls heart. When the nurse wheeled Miracle into operating room, Miracle was ready for her long awaited heart surgery. The Collins thanked God for answering their prayers, and even though Miracle will be on medication the rest of her life, she could still live basically a normal life. The Collins was allowed to view Miracle surgery from another room with glass windows that showed most of the surgery. The Dr. starting surgery and when got started, Miracle died but was revived and the surgery continued, but the Collins felt like they had died too. Then after opening Miracle little chest and placing that beautiful heart within her chest and stitching up all the main vein and arteries, Miracle took another nose dive and died again, her parent was beside them selves with worry but they continued to pray.

After twelve hour of surgery, the Dr. closed up heart Miracle's little chest and started the new heart to beating, but the heart stopped and had to be started up again, and it seemed the Collin's stopped breathing but after all the troubles, hassles and heart breaks; Precious Miracle was still alive. Mrs. Collins said her prayer was in the name of the father; the son and the holy spirit she would be saved, and she said after she came back the last time: she knew it would be for good, and that she would live. The Dr. came and told the Collins that Miracle surgery was a success and Miracle would live a long life but with medications of course, the Collins didn't care, The had their Precious Miracle back and that was all that mattered to them. The Collins were so grateful that they hugged and thank the Doctor for saving Miracle life. All of a sudden Mrs. Collins remembered what Miracle had said to her about God would give her a brand new heart and realized that it was true, God did send her a brand new blessed heart and the tears welled up in the corners of Mrs. Collins eyes because she was so grateful. After waiting for three more hours the Collins went back to Miracles room and waited for her to awaken and she finally did open up her big beautiful brown eyes and asked mom Collins; did God send me my brand new heart yet, Mrs. Collins node her head ,kissed her and told her that her brand new heart was already in her chest, miracle replied is that why my chest is heavy with bandages, mom Collins was speechless.

Miracle immediately fell back to sleep, a week passed and Miracle was getting well fast, and after being in the hospital three weeks; Precious Miracle Collins was discharged and sent home with her medication, instruction and her parents. It was a new beginning for Miracle and her parents because God had answered their prayers, when they lease expected it. God Might not answer when we want him too, but he's always on time. Miracle finally met the parent of the little girl heart donor, and now she 's a part of their lives too; everything worked out for the good in the end. The Brockmeyers daughter's heart beats in Miracle little chest and they can see her anytime just to feel the closeness of their own daughter. Miracle is a happy little girl that's having fun living and her mom and dad was blessed with a daughter that will live because of a heart donor. So, God blessed everyone, even though someone had to die in the process, Precious Miracle benefited the most because she got a brand new healthy heart that continues to beat for her.

This a fiction writing but I want you all to know that Miracles like these happens every day in someones life, so, even though this is a fiction writing the power of God is forever real, only, if we believe.

Great story telling and what a gift some people make from the worst of circumstances. Return To Me is one of my favorite movies of all time because although it isn't about a 'child' per se it really is - loss and giving back - and love. That's why I'm an organ donor - because I hope that someone can benefit if I'm not here anymore but it must be so difficult with children!

This was so touching. The fact that the donor's family allowed their deceased daughters heart to beat for another child was so admirable. What a beautiful story.
