Prophesy of the Amulet

Updated on March 5, 2015

So shall it be,

For the prophesies are truth,

Five will arise,

All noble and true.

Heroes they’ll have to be,

Or the quest ends in doom,

For the Dark-One had arisen...

In the continent of Galdar-Dun.

A tower now stood,

In the golden city of Babel,

A power so dark,

Only the Amulet could unravel,

There the five must travel,

To end the quest of doom.

The land they’ll reach,

Now lay asunder,

Where hordes of the Dark-One,

Stalked and plundered.

Once a shining grand city,

Babel now so cold, dank & dreary,

For the Reaper is in the air...

Inhabitants now all been stricken,

Young, old, men, women & children,

As slaves they were driven,

Beaten & ridden...

In the continent of Galdar-Dun.

So shall it be,

In fulfilling the prophesy,

Our heroes must come,

To the turmult & chaos that looms,

End the reigning terror,

End the spreading doom...

But only one,

Shall confront the Dark-One,

One destined by the Stone,

For he alone holds the key,

The Amulet of Prophesy,

For the Dark-One’s bane,

The Dark-One’s death,

The Dark-One’s utter destruction,

And Doom...

I liked the theme running through this poem, epic battles of good and evil! Amulets, heroes and prophesy.
