Prose - You Are Worthy of Love

Updated on October 16, 2011

Love without need
Companionship not control
Vulnerability not weakness
Fall but not fast
Giving without expecting
Desire not desperation
Sharing without resentment
Compromise without loss
Freedom without indifference
Passionate without obsessing
Honest not hurtful
Confident not arrogant
Together not smothering
Apart not gone
Crying not sobbing
Feeling not numb
Living not waiting
Involved not detached
Trust not foolishness
Respect not worship
Loyalty not blindness
Complementive not forced
Dignity not aloofness

Accept without justification
Understand without grudge
Consider with patience
Offer not teach
Learn not ignore
Protect virtue
Remember who you are
Neither avoid or indulge pain
Difference is not rejection
Alone but not lonely
You are worthy of love
You are worthy of life

Beautifully written, if only such a person existed the world would be a far nicer place. Brilliant and thought provoking. Thank you for sharing.
