Puppy Love, and Golden Dreams.

Updated on April 14, 2011

What a cutie pie.

Golden Labrador Puppy
Golden Labrador Puppy

I Did Spy. (A little bit of nonsense)

Walking home from school today,

I did spy in the shadows, by the tree,

a golden puppy on display.

So shy was he, but wagged his tail,

and rolled over, I could see he was male.

His face was a picture of innocence,

and he came crawling over to me.

"I think I will call you Fred," said I,

lifting his collar to see why,

this golden puppy was out alone,

no where to go, so far from home.

His collar held no clue,

and I knew not what to do,

so in my school bag I did pop,

the golden puppy by the scruff.

His tail and nose poked out,

and I was afraid I heard a shout.

Mother squeeled with delight,

almost cried at the sight,

of the golden puppy.

"You must take him back." she sternly said

"I can't mother, I called him Fred."

Fred is mine now for all to see,

and mine now he will always be.

Good Morning Meredith and Marlene: I did not intend to put myself down. I know that if I did intentionally that you two would take me behind the barn and knock some sense into me..

Today is sunny for me too. I wish we could all be together, just lounging around my pool, sipping ice tea and laughing about this that and the other. One day, one day.

Okay time to get this home cleaned up...

Hey Meredith how is our story coming along?

Good Morning to my two new sisters, blue star & Mrs JB~~

I think we will all enjoy joining Mr Website Examiner's new Fiction Reading Club... he wrote a HUB about it that really explains it very well and I have already learned much from him.

I agree with bluestar that none of us needs to ever put ourselves down... I am sad when I read any of my new friends do so in their HUBS or in the comment section and I am very angered when I see others do it to each other in HUBS (or the Forum, which I steer away for the most part). Only God is perfect and that must be a heckuva job... other than that we need to be nice/ help each other out constructively if needed and I am frankly AGOG at the talented writers and the nice folks I have "met" in such a short time...

So here is to a postive and sunny day~~ for me, not weather-wise so I will make it an internally sunny one... Love you both, mar

bluestar~~ I agree with Mrs J B... I really love your poetry and your creative writing as well... I think writing poetry is a gift and you have it, for sure...

I was happy to learn that Website Examiner has a Fiction Readers Club and I have joined it... I believe you should too and your wonderful work would have more opportunity to be critiqued in his newsletter... I learned about it by reading his HUB on it... sounds like fun.

Anyway, keep writing and believing in yourself because I intend to keep reading your work... so glad we found each other. Have a good evening, mar!

Hi marcujar, I get writers block fairly often and disgustedly to admit, I write a little bit of poetic nonsense, I find it helps put me back on track. I do enjoy writing poetry, but I am not good at it at all, no matter how I try. Willstar and Wayne have been so helpful with writing poetry and I am so very grateful to them both. x

Vet, Susan, Sam and Marie, thank you so much for your comments. I am a little bit brain dead at the moment, so decided to write a little bit of nonsense to stir the old brain cells up a little.
