Questions Unuttered

Updated on March 18, 2011

When you look into my eyes

What is it that you see?

Do you see a joyous world?

Or a world of pain and grief?

If I looked into your eyes

What would you let me see?

Would I see beyond the shell?

Or just you staring back at me?

If I held you in my arms

What is it you would feel?

Would you be calm and feel so safe?

Or would you want to run and squeal?

If you held me in your arms

I wonder what Id feel

Would I want to hide away?

Or would it feel so unreal?

Would you let me know if you cared?

Or would it be left unsaid?

A world of secrets

A world of fear

Will we part ways with so much unknown

And never know what was there.

This is another poem I wrote many years ago. Until now I have never had an outlet (or more importantly never wanted to find an outlet) where I could share these works with people.

I do not like to edit my past works as I feel it takes away raw feeling of it, I wrote it that way for a reason when I wrote it, I prefer to keep things that way.

I loved this and I agree that you should not edit past works. It's like taking a picture only to photoshop the background....
