Quietly I Speak

Updated on November 6, 2015

Fast Or Slow Times

My energy spiking

As my hidden thoughts slowly seep through

Like water being absorbed by a sponge

Little at a time

Even though so many other things are over whelming

The speed of a train

Blowing it's horn loudly

An aching tooth

Demanding my immediate attention

My cat

Bucking up on it's hind legs

Repeating over and over

Using great effort

To make me understand

I am here

I need to be patted

Love and caring wanted

From a sniffle to the morning light

You can only be at one place at any given moment

As I roll my shoulders and shake my neck

In an effort to take the slightest control

To lure out

The next fish waiting to bite

A sudden reaccurring pain

Not understood or fixed

Will drive me insane

So this day will go unmatched

Simple pleasures will always be the best

annart I use to have a big problem with deciding what to do. Then stranded and feeling alone on a desert island I would feel helpless. That any way I picked I could of made a better choice. Beating myself up why didn't I choose another option. Who could of known. Finally I realized life is a learn as you go process. We are not meant to pick the right choice all the time because in our mistakes there a many valuable lessons to learn. We may enjoy and learn more by our errors and failures than by our successes. Thank you for reading and leaving another beautiful comment. Have a spectacular weekend.

I like the bit about thoughts seeping through and being absorbed by a sponge - great! There are so many things to think about, so many things to do, we just have to let them each have their own space.

I like the way this makes me explore down different avenues.

Gypsy Rose Lee Sid is one in a million. I wonder where they learn their attitude from. Maybe it's a hereditary trait. Thanks so much for reading. Have a great night

Our cat Sid should now be named Prince. He has taken into his head that he is the ruler of the house. I sit at the PC and have something to eat beside me. Pretty soon Sid has his face into my dish and demands to have some of my food. I have inquired if he thinks that perhaps his mom doesn't need to eat but of course being a cat I have had no response.

DDE Events in life happen quickly. Many times I find it hard to grasp the full scope and meaning until later. Busy working and other plans that lead me focused on what I think is important. Writing takes time. Talking to friends. Being with my wife spending time together if it is having fun, watching t.v. or doing chores it fills most of my day. Communication is so important. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts.
