Quietly I Speak
Fast Or Slow Times
My energy spiking
As my hidden thoughts slowly seep through
Like water being absorbed by a sponge
Little at a time
Even though so many other things are over whelming
The speed of a train
Blowing it's horn loudly
An aching tooth
Demanding my immediate attention
My cat
Bucking up on it's hind legs
Repeating over and over
Using great effort
To make me understand
I am here
I need to be patted
Love and caring wanted
From a sniffle to the morning light
You can only be at one place at any given moment
As I roll my shoulders and shake my neck
In an effort to take the slightest control
To lure out
The next fish waiting to bite
A sudden reaccurring pain
Not understood or fixed
Will drive me insane
So this day will go unmatched
Simple pleasures will always be the best
