Free falling droplet
Falls upon my chilly skin-
Shivers down my spine

actually this is more af an Americanized version of Haiku, traditional Japanese Haiku is not the same. I also enjoy Cinquain 2-4-6-8-2 syllable scheme and is considered the American Haiku

I never understood what a Haiku was.So I looked it up.It is a Japanese verse form in three lines of five, seven, and five syllables respectively.I enjoyed it.I will have to read more of your Haiku's to understand it better.
