I felt you in the rain today,
Falling down on me.
Soaking deep into the bone,
The raindrops set me free.

I felt your warmth inside of me,
Made brighter by the cold.
I knew our love would always be
Eternal, strong and bold.

I felt your heartbeat in my own,
A rhythmic hope to share.
Your life and mine entwined as one,
You're always waiting there.

To feel you in my arms again,
What price I'd gladly pay!
To hold you close and ease my pain
For just a single day.

I felt you in the rain today,
Reaching through the years,
The clear blue skies assuring me
Those raindrops were my tears.

True writers find a way to express themselves in words and sometimes pictures. You my friend did them both. Beautifully written and well presented. Be blessed...
