Raise the Curtain

Updated on October 4, 2013

Intermission Hall

There are no ends only beginnings
Of many lives with many innings
And should this inning we now play
Lead not to union on this plane

A deeper love shall show through
To those we love and those we knew
We share love through friendships trust
As we both know and see we must

Romance in secret we have now
And unto this we must avow
That we may keep alive this track
That we may keep close contact

We’ll never stop until we meet
And we’ll fulfill the rhyme
Of true love seen by all we meet
In another space and time

And should this inning become real
This inning play this spinning wheel
The joy we within this life we’ll feel
We shall both dance the joyful reel

Just now the past and present collide
Within this time they coincide
Which is but a tiny ride
When based on Universal tide

But never ever shall we part
In spirit we shall dwell
And follow each through heavens realms
And through our own real hells

We’ll not deny ourselves this vision
That we both have seen
Within our souls without derision
For centuries it has been

We both know that this is true
No matter what we say
The futures we shall see in truth
The futures we shall stay

The course of Universal plan
That has been set for us
Far from the sight of mortal man
Tis in this we must trust

As we create worlds of our own
A hope runs straight and true
We cannot do this work alone
Together we must do

As we know we are united
Upon that plane so vast
As we both have truly cited
New worlds we make at last

Are worlds including physical
Where we again shall dwell
And there again experience joy
We’ll sit there at the helms

Whether it takes short or long
The future is uncertain
And as the story goes along
Some day we’ll raise the curtain

Great words; I love this one and vote up.

Larry, you don't know how much that means to me. This poem touching you as it has and yes, I agree. We have to go after our dreams sooner or later. Thank You!

It must be fulfilled, even if just once, and briefly. You are owed that much at least. Thinking of passions experienced at a distance I am reminded of childhood crushes. It's not the girls who matter now but rather the memory of how I could feel for someone else and what that meant to me then. Those were the most important experiences of my early life. Although the same experience in my adulthood is an increasingly distant memory it is without doubt one of the most precious of them all.

Well, it can be pronounced a few ways. I pronounce it Too-Watha! Smiles! Thanks for the curiosity Kim.

As time and energy allows, I would like to know how one pronounces your name. It's really cool to see another Carolina girl weaving her way through the HP hub-a-sphere.

      Best,

      Kim
