Reflecting On My Day

Updated on October 27, 2015

A Good Busy

All during the day you had no time to think

Each hour was very rewarding doing your job well

Minor setbacks came up but they got fixed

Thinking of many days just like today

Hidden and almost obsolete

Some how the bad times get all the attention

Where the good days blend in

We don't realize having so many wonderful times at work

Is an outstanding achievement

One that should be recognized

We get paid to do our job

Look around and watch how many coworkers go through the motion

Don't really care

They have mastered the art of looking good when the boss is around

When he is gone

They slack off and push the limits to far

Relaxing and getting the job done is one thing

Taking advantage of a good manager

Just isn't right

What example are they setting

They play the game

I have found better ways to spend my time

Improving slightly from before

I may never be the best

I know I am more consistent

In the long run

I will be much better off

No pressure or hidden agenda

Just good old fashioned hard work

Got me where I am today

I don't owe anyone any favors

I earned all I have and I never have to look over my shoulder

What I do have is 100% pride in everything I do

That is what makes me feel good

Gypsy Rose Lee Most of the time managers don't even notice it. I know what I do and that's good enough for me. I am very happy in my little world. I look at it as a gym work out. The more I do the better health I have. Who else gets paid to go to exercise ?What a life. Thank you for reading and sharing. It means so much.

Michael-Milec My parents taught me to do your best at everything you do. You never know what direction life will reward you for your efforts. It might be meeting a new friend, learning a new skill or just having fun. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Your devotedness is delightful, seeing you as a diligent artist plunged into his work, being aware of his expectations with it, and being content with his success.
