3 Poems: Reflection - Resolute - Mistake
Reflections, Resolute, Mistake
Reflections
I did so much, I tried so hard.
Yet they were all for naught.
The pedastal I once dedicate my time
was but a grave I slowly declined.
So ask me why I like solitude?
Simply, it forges me a path of infinite fortitude.
Resolute
His mind was made
and his heart was hate.
The world owes him plenty
and its his to take.
The world can plead
but he would not skip a beat
for taking what he deserved
was no small feat.
Mistake
"My life was a mistake"
He could not acknowledge.
His countenance clouded
and his mind recalled
of what he saw and his hands that claw...
He had lost them for eternity and ever more.
