Relativity - Not The Hour

Updated on March 23, 2011

Hit ground

stone pavement

familiar sound

makes payment

bright skies

shiny flowers

mountain ranges

gaining power

sloping road

splits valleys

cobbled stones

form alleys

railroad track

creates borders

different thoughts

giving orders

younger presence

older invader

once familiar

never stranger

to return

is within

my power

but just

the place

not the hour.

      @Robwrite - I wish. I don't think it is that deep! :-)

So the premise is a Proust-like examination of the irrevocable loss of time and youth, and the death of innocence through experience?

It is a journey through time and space and a realization that you can't go back.

I liked it, especially the last few lines, but am not sure what it is. A dream? Maybe you can give your fans a little background information about your frame of mind when you wrote it?
