Religious Beliefs, the Essence of Society
Religion, the believing of a higher power as the Creator of all,
May be stated as an individual, by a congregation, in its call.
Precepts or components of each one to have their own place,
A vital and unifying set of values, uniting this, our Human Race.
Religious beliefs from around this world, are all of importance,
Begun as surely as the sun does rise, not as a happenstance.
Asian Climes, and those of the Middle East, wonders to behold,
Just as Christianity assists in our civilization, it helps to unfold.
Divinity, that of a Higher Power, Watches from celestial heights,
Provides a security in its substance, power against evil's fights.
The goodness is evident in any culture's choice, in all its purity,
The daily devotion shown by each one, demonstrates spirituality.
Religion in any form or belief, to be revered and so well respected,
None more important than the rest, all in confidence, not rejected.
Each nation is built upon its own religious views, forever a vital part,
Just as a mother's child is so born, to grow up, her values to impart.
When there is bias presented, or hatred spread by some unbelievers,
Theirs, a losing battle, fought in evil quarters, a product of deceivers.
Every form of spiritual worship, justified by its own followers, their own,
A watchful Father, waits on high, His patience great, good seeds sewn.
