I never in my wildest dreams thought I would change my mind about Donald Trump, but we must do something more than we've been doing. We must be able to defend ourselves. Are we considered soft? I hate that idea! I welcome all comments. I know there is a great divide in what is the best.

Hatred is a fatal attraction. Mixing with blame game is a sure hit among public.

Mahatma Gandhi said 'An eye for eye will make the world blind'.

everyone must defend themselves and country. but there is a right way in doing so and a wrong way. many of these so called bombings are staged too. not saying this one is as i don't have the details yet. We can be offensive and defensive without trump. He is just one man with money

And When people panic, they cry blood, no matter whose they get as long as they get some. Fear and control is what the elites feed on.

Hello hari, your comment made me think of Jesus' teaching of turning the other cheek. Gandhi was a wise man. Thank you so much...

Clive, I hear you loud and clear. I think I had a panic attack when I saw this explode on T.V. Money is the root of all evil if used in the wrong way, it is good if used to help others. Thank you for coming to read. I value your opinion..

Fear and anger and helplessness....horrible reasons for rash judgments and actions......I hope calmer and more rational leaders step up and find solutions we can all live with.

Nell, I wonder if that would stop the bombings? America and England has citizen joining the terrorists and we don't even know who they are. What a horrible time we are witnessing! President Obama said for us to continue living, just be alert. Easier said than done. Cheer my friend.

Bill, who would that be? That's a honest question. I really don't know at this point. This attack could have been here. I wish I knew what is the best way to go. Thank you for coming...

Hello Ruby - Brussels is a tragedy, but thinking that one candidate is better equipped than another is better to deal with it is to quick a decision. Each and everyone of them will have the same resources available to them. In this dangerous world, we want the coolest head. Not a hot head.

Bullies always attack those that show weakness, and at the moment, the leadership in both Europe and the United States are viewed by radical Islam, the bully, as weak.

Mike I felt the same way until this happened, then I listened to Trump talk and I listened to Hillary. She said that it was wrong to use torture to get information from these killers, Trump said that if we'd used torture on the one we just captured, he would've told us more because they were connected with the ones who hit Brussels. I still feel that we could do more in this country. Thank you for coming.

Will, your comment must be true because it keeps on happening. I don't even think building a wall would help, they are people who live here and are American citizens. The killers who hit Brussels lived there. Today they are saying that they have captured one of the men, that's good but it's after the fact. We have got to do more to show the world that we're strong. Thank you for coming..

Ed, I don't like Trump, but I do like some of his idea's. I never thought I would say that, but enough is enough. I wrote this when I was really upset. I am still upset this morning, watching the news, seeing people leave flowers and candles in Brussels, the same thing we did after the world trade center was brought down. It seems everything we do is after the fact. Thank you for coming..

Ruby you cannot condone torture. You are outraged when an American's is tortured. Remember that outrage.

I hear you Mike, and I know torture is wrong. I was so upset when I wrote this. I don't like Trump, especially when he said John MCcain was no hero. I believe he was a hero who was tortured for five years in captivity. I guess I should stop watching the news. I remember how outraged I was when Isis cut off the heads of American prisoners. Thanks for the reminder. Hugs..

A Terrible attack, good poem. We need to find a rational solution here..and that is? The fact that this attack occurred in Brussels is the answer in itself. We hire the "Muscles from Brussels" himself to bring the terrorists to justice and rectify the situation. Bring on Jon Claude Van Damm...he's the man! :)

I am rather ambivalent about him. I see some good he could do, but in some ways he may be a little too rough around the edges. The only things I know for certain is that no country or place is safe from terrorism. If it's not foreign, it's domestic. It's a terrible, unnecessary shame too.

I am not a Donald fan. He does say a few things that I happen to agree with, but the overwhelming majority of his comments leave me appalled...especial his comments on torture. He simply doesn't know what he is talking about. But he wouldn't be the first. I liked this poem, Ruby. Hugs my friend.

Hello Genna. I've changed my mind about Donald. I wrote this the day after the Brussels attack, and I was furious. Like you, I do like some of his ideas. ( Trade ) but thinking of him as the commander and chief with the ability to order bombing ( Bush ) SCARES THE HECK OUT OF ME!!!! Thank you...Hugs...
