What Hubris!
My name ain't Chris!!
I don't believe in Pisces
neither do I dig Isis;
In my Country there exists
greater than all foreign deities
(even transcends Sango's boundaries)
and other gods I dare dismiss.
How dare "they" say this!!!!
That my "Chi" is worse than Anubis
- I carved him with my own hands, please
so stop scorning or you'll get the disease!
I chose the best and sturdiest of trees,
one devoid of woodpeckers, ants or even fleas.
And see, my Village agrees
that when angry, my god sends bees.
If "they" continue to provoke the keys
that turn benign silence to angry breeze,
my god, their God will crease!!!
WHAT HUBRIS!!!!!
Such is the deception upon many souls
Held in bondage by sin, demons and ghouls
Men, in dignity, behaving like foals
spiritually stagnant like poles
God has a place in His heart
For all who will come to Him for a start
It really does not matter where you have been
What matters is your choice, today even.
Your destiny is beyond the shores of "here"
Because (after all's said and done) there is a "there"
Only your faith in Jesus Christ ALONE
Can get you a favourable verdict from Jehovah's throne.
Time's a-running, beloved
The world's a-crumbling (problem solved)
Just let go and let GOD
change your life by His awesome WORD.
Listen to your heart beating time, brother
Will you miss life eternal altogether?
It's righteous hubris to say Jesus is the only name that can save
Every other name will lead you to an eternal grave!
