Running Out of Time

Updated on April 5, 2010

Misguided choices

Along this broken path

I sleep to pass time

I drink to pass out

I am high but my feet still touch the ground

I hear the voices but there is no sound

The sun is coming up and time is running out...

Out of food, out of gas, out of money

But full of doubt

Your words here are dripping with raw emotion and pain. The darkness, the stuckness and pain. Nice job and powerful writing.

........a poetic excursion on the dark side of Desolation Row - and powerful words which haunt the mind long thereafter!

So simple and short, but each line was lovely. Like the picture, too. And great backlinking. ;)
